Iya Ni Wura Carnival: The Best, Most Unique & Outstanding Carnival In The History Of Sagamu

As we approach end of the year, individuals and groups are organizing Shows, Street Jamz, Get-together Party and many more.

Talking about Carnivals in the history of Sagamu, the first and historic "Iya Ni Wura Carnival" stands out among other Carnivals, its uniqueness and great innovation placed the organizers, three Streets involved above others.

Just yesterday, Ogunyanwo Street, Folarin Street and Olayinka Street jointly organized this laudable and impactful program where the youths were gathered to appreciate God and to celebrate all wonderful Mothers across the globe.

Yeye Aderonke Emmanuel King, wife of Oba Adetola Emmanuel King during the opening speech charged all the Mothers to always pray and take good care of their children, she further encouraged the children to be obedient and also to ensure that their parents are living in comfort while they are still alive.

"Iya Ni Wura Carnival" was powered by a Philanthropist, Supporter of new Ideas/ Thought/ Innovations, Generous Man, lover of Youths, Oba Adetola Emmanuel King, also known as Adron (Lagos State Man Of The Year), the CEO of Adron Homes and Properties.

Permit us to quickly mention part of Adron's contributions and achievements in Remoland; Adron supported Hon. (Barr.) Asiwaju 'Yinka Mafe's project (Free Shuttle Bus for Students) few years ago, by donating a Free Shuttle Bus which convey students to and fro on a daily basis, the good news is that both buses still run till date, even plying more routes than before.

Adron donated a brand new car to mark Isanbi Day few years back, donated a brand new car and bus to mark Obaruwa Festival in 2018. Donated a brand new car to mark Ereke Day 2019, donated a new transformer, installed street lights for public use, people of Ogunyanwo and Olayinka precisely, ensures there is always a special offer or discount for any Remo Citizens who patronizes Adron homes and properties, individual empowerment, scholarship for some students in Remo (Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Institutions), and still counting.

Looking critically at the aforementioned, his contributions to the Yoruba race qualified and made him emerged as the Lagos State Man of the Year.

During the parade and contest, Ogunyanwo Street came first (won Keke Napep), Olayinka Street was the first runner-up (won Bike), and Folarin Street was the second runner-up (won Grinding Machines).

The guest Artistes who thrilled the audience were; Tope Alabi, Esther Igbekele, Dele Gold, Lanre Atorise, Segun Ajidara, Senwele Jesu, Segun Nabi, Vanessa Jones, Soul Winning Crew. Leramo, Ebony amongst others, Saidi Balogun, Kemi Arewa and Sunny White anchored the memorable event.

The House of Assembly Member, representing Sagamu II State Constituency, Hon. Ademola Adeniran Adeyinka SAPELE who also supported the great event came to grace the event.

Oba Adetola Emmanuel King in his remark appreciated everyone most especially the Youths for their total corporation, he promised to continually impact the lives of people, he further announced that three other street will be joining the three existing streets in the 2020 Iya Ni Wura Carnival.

"Our profound gratitude goes to our Father, Patron, Oba Adetola Emmanuel King, a man who's always there for the youths, we wholeheartedly appreciate and commend you for your love and steadfastness over the years. We pray that God would continually uphold and bless your home Sir." The Ogunyanwo, Olayinka and Folarin Youths stated.

Thank you all.
