Iya Ni Wura Carnival: The Best, Most Unique & Outstanding Carnival In The History Of Sagamu As we approach end of the year, individuals and groups are organizing Shows, Street Jamz, Get-together Party and many more. Talking about Carnivals in the history of Sagamu, the first and historic "Iya Ni Wura Carnival" stands out among other Carnivals, its uniqueness and great innovation placed the organizers, three Streets involved above others. Just yesterday, Ogunyanwo Street, Folarin Street and Olayinka Street jointly organized this laudable and impactful program where the youths were gathered to appreciate God and to celebrate all wonderful Mothers across the globe. Yeye Aderonke Emmanuel King, wife of Oba Adetola Emmanuel King during the opening speech charged all the Mothers to always pray and take good care of their children, she further encouraged the children to be obedient and also to ensure that their parents are living in comfort while they are still alive.

FG Declares 3 Days As Public Holidays. Published December 19, 2019 The Federal Government has declared Wednesday 25th, Thursday 26th December 2019 and Wednesday 1st January 2020 as public holidays to mark the Christmas, Boxing Day and the New Year celebrations respectively. Minister for Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, felicitated with Christians and all Nigerians both at home and abroad on this year’s Christmas and New Year Celebrations. He enjoined all Christians to live within the virtues and teachings of Jesus Christ, which hinge on compassion, patience, peace, humility, righteousness and love for one another, adding that doing so would guarantee an atmosphere of peace and security in the country. BREAKING: DSS Re-Arrests Sowore. Published Dec., 6, 2019 Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday morning re-arrested the convener of #RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, and his co-defendant Olawale Bakare on fresh charges. He is currently being detained at the DSS office in Abuja. The DSS is yet to disclose the reason for the re-arrest. Sowore was re-arrested following an earlier attempt by DSS operatives to arrest him inside the courtroom of a Federal High Court in Abuja. His re-arrest comes barely 24 hours after he was released alongside his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare. They were released at exactly 7:15 pm on Thursday, hours after Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal High Court in Abuja, had expressed displeasure over their continued detention by the agency. Three Killed As Yoruba, Hausa Clash In Osun Mining Community Published Dec. 3, 2019. It was all horror in Iyere village of Atakumosa West Local Government Area of Osun State on Monday when three persons lost their lives following a violent clash between Hausa and Yoruba residents. Though details of what led to the clash could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report, sources informed the Nigerian Tribune that one Hausa man was having a disagreement with a Fulani and a Yoruba man prevailed on them to give room for peace.
