We PRAY & PLAY Too Much In This Country.
After every defeat, we go to God for prayers, this question that bothers my mind is that, do we ever remember to pray before we embark on such task? do we ever remember to pray to God first in all our endeavours? Prayer is the key but please read further...
I think it's high time we wake up from slumber in this religious country of ours, we act less and pray and play more, we don't really need much prayers if we do the right thing at all time.
Do we need prayers to fix our roads, build infrastructures, provide basic amenities, secure life and properties, provide qualitative education and so on? The resources are there for us to build upon.
It's never a mistake that God gave us this huge and great natural resources, it's not by accident but because God wants the best for all mankind.
We are all Creatures created by the Creator to create all other creations. God won't come down to do our responsibilities for us, remember heaven helps those who help themselves.
Most developed Countries in the world do pray less all because they've collectively turned around their various countries for good by utilizing what God provided for them well.
Nigeria is a great country, endowed with many talented people and great intellectuals but what do we gain from all these, zero.
I plead to us all to change our orientation for good, let's see beyond today, the future is here, our unborn generation would not forgive us for not doing what is right, and for not laying down a good foundation for them to build upon, no one can build a ten storey building on a bungalow foundation and still sleeps in such building, I bet you, he would be laid to rest in no time.
In a nutshell, dear fellow compatriots, let's get to work and stop visiting religious home when we are to be at work, miracle doesn't happen in such way, your mind and conscience are what matter most, open your mind widely to God, get inspiration from Him and build on it.
Identify your calling in life as a person, build your career, enjoy and impact people's lives no matter how small it is, the little you do to that person today might serve as a source of breakthrough for him or her.
Truly, you need to pray but work harder and pray to God to crown all your efforts with success.
If we don't build our Nation, who will???
