MAINTAINING A GOOD HEALTH

Image
MAINTAINING A GOOD HEALTH Gbenga Ambassador Easy* Published On June 18, 2020. There is nothing in our life that is more valuable than good health. That is why people say health is wealth. Without health there is no happiness, no peace and no success. A person with bad health can not enjoy the pleasure of being wealthy. Health is more valuable than money. Money can not buy health and happiness. But a healthy person remains in a state of bliss and happiness. A healthy person is completely free from any illness or injury. When we are ill or we do not want to play or work, our bad health robs us of sound sleep and appetite. On the other hand, one with good health enjoys his life. When he works or plays he is never tired. A healthy person enjoys good food and sound sleep. For him the world is beautiful and life is all joy. It is very true that Health is Wealth. As, it is only our good health which stay with us in any bad or good circumstances. So, if our health is good, we can be...

We Nigerians Are The Problem Of Nigeria

Image
We Nigerians Are The Problem Of Nigeria So many things baffle me in this country of ours as nothing seems to be working well in this Nation. We are just too religious, we keep blaming the Leaders knowing fully well that both Leaders and Followers are to be scolded, anyway I blame the followers more. How on earth would you expect a follower who only depend on his paymaster for living to call a spade a spade irrespective of who is involved. Though most of our Rulers are not Leaders, they always see Critics as enemies not knowing that they could put things in proper shape and condition with criticism, though it requires wisdom anyway. We keep agitating online that our Youths are jobless in Remoland, they keep roaming around the nooks and crannies of our land and the so called different Youth bodies can't even put some piece together and send to the office of the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, who knows, something might be done. Even the job portal created by Ogun Stat...

OGUN STATE MANDATES USE OF FACE MASK

Image
OGUN STATE MANDATES USE OF FACE MASK I must not but return all glory and adoration to God Almighty for sparing our lives till this moment and for not abandoning us all in this nation despite our sins. My appreciation also goes to the federal, state and local government, cooperate organizations, groups and various individuals who have been collectively fighting this Covid-19 global pandemic which is ravaging the entire world at the moment. Few days ago, President Muhammad Buhari urged the cooperate organizations to join the state government in donating and sharing of face mask to the general public. Due to the astronomical rise in the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19, the Ogun State government however mandated the use of face mask within the state to contain the spread of the deadly pandemic. Take it or leave it, the government should be aware by now that some individuals can't afford one meal per day not to talk of getting a face mask as cheap as it is. May I use t...

REJOINDER TO THE OFFICIAL PRESS STATEMENT OF THE NIGERIAN POLICE  FORCE OGUN STATE COMMAND ON THE MURDER OF TIYAMIYU KAZEEM (KAKA) BY SARS ON 22ND OF FEBRUARY, 2020 AT ABEOKUTA SAGAMU EXPRESS WAY: A DEMAND FOR JUSTICE. "When impunity reigns supreme in our society  anarchy is inevitable" what a dark day not because the sun did not rise, but because the life of shining star was cut short by the hands of the enemies from within. The destiny and glory of a generation wasted by a reckless SARS officer who in his characteristic illegality took laws to his hands. What a shame on you because you can only kill his body but not his legacy, he is forever living and shining in our hearts. One for all, all for one they say when comrades defend themselves, the creed and oath of service but this as since turned into a means to develop conspiracy theories in a bid to defend themselves even when their actions contradicts their oath and alligience. The above completely exemplifies the...

Asiwaju Yinka Mafe & Adepeju Jaiyeoba; In 2011 when I was starting Brown Button Foundation, I sent Facebook inbox messages to several lawmakers in Ogun State about my plans to make childbirth safer for mothers and their babies.

In 2011 when I was starting Brown Button Foundation, I sent Facebook inbox messages to several lawmakers in Ogun State about my plans to make childbirth safer for mothers and their babies. Only one person responded. That person was Asiwaju Yinka Mafe. A lawyer himself, turned politician, he gave me my first opportunity to implement my ideas and used all apparatus he had to ensure we had a successful pilot and program. We went on to run other programs around maternal and child health for him in his constituency. I never knew this man from anywhere. I simply just connected with him on Facebook, shared my ideas on maternal health and he gave me a platform in his constituency to implement my ideas. Two days ago, 4th of February 2020, Asiwaju Mafe clocked 46 years old. He, sadly, died on the same day while his birthday celebration was ongoing. I’ve always wondered why this man responded to my inbox message. Why he gave me the opportunities he did using his own resources, why h...
